ABC Tours Aruba extends a helping hand during hurricane Ivan.
ABC Tours Aruba in 2004 helped out big time when hurricane Ivan came close to Aruba bringing flooding waters and destructive winds. Aruba is not
officially situated in the hurricane belt but one occasionally gets close to the Island and this happened during hurricane Ivan. There were flooded roads
and houses throughout Aruba. Since ABC Tours is the only company in Aruba that has Snorkel equipped Land Rovers the flooded streets were no match for our
custom made vehicles. The tours were cancelled and all ABC employees and owners were eager to help out the Aruban Community. The Land Rovers were all,
in cooperation with the Red Cross of Aruba, transformed into driving search and rescue teams and lots of people were rescued from their flooded houses
and brought to safety.
